Grace sits at her desk at La Vie est Belle when Michelle zooms in the door.

“What’s the matter?”

“We’re going to be aunties again!” Michelle shrieks with joy.

“Sara?”

“Well, yeah, who the hell else?” Michelle jokes. She pulls Grace from her chair and throws her arms around her as they bounce up and down.

“How far along is she?”

“About three months. I’m so freakin’ excited!”

“I need to call James,” Grace says, looking through the pile of paperwork on her desk for her cell phone.

“Here, use mine.”

Grace punches the button to call James, her eyes filling with tears. “James!” she squeaks into the phone.

“I guess Missy told you?”

“Oh my gosh, another baby!”

“Yep, another little one. You’re going to come home when he’s born, right?”

“He?” she questions. “Do you know the sex yet or is it too early?”

“It would be nice to have a son.”

“It would be wonderful to have a nephew. I’m so happy for you. How is Sara feeling?”

“She’s doing great. She’s happy of course. Very happy.”

Michelle taps Grace on the shoulder as a young man enters the gallery with a portfolio case under his arm.

“James, I gotta go. We’re meeting with a new artist, but please tell Sara how happy I am for both of you, and I’ll call you two later. I love you.”

“I love you too, sis.”
